Digital Housekeeper is an easy tool to use.  No software needs to be loaded onto a computer system, so there are no operating system compatibility issues.  It was developed using Microsoft web technology and is running on the latest server operating system with enterprise-level relational databases.  When it comes to online security, Digital Housekeeper runs behind the latest in firewall technology and is backed up nightly so you can rest assured that your information is safe and sound.

With its graphical user interface and minimal training, your staff will be able to audit data and improve efficiency almost immediately.  Specialized training can be tailored to meet your specific needs.

Accessibility User is able to access data 24/7 anywhere you have an internet connection and a web browser. Access only on computers that have the software licensed or installed. Cannot view live data offsite.
Installation No installation of software on any machines. Access to software is available from unlimited number of computers Requires installation on each machine you wish to use it on.
IT Involvement There is virtually no involvement from IT departments. IT may need to review the software and approve before installation. IT or user needs to maintain the database. IT may need to set up and maintain network connections and settings. IT oversees and trouble shoots software, networking issues and compatibility problems. IT time and cost issues.
Network Issues Network issues are non-existent. Nothing is installed on the network. Database resides on our server. Potential network compatibility issues. Space on the network may be a concern to IT. Database is installed on individual client computers (who has the current database) or on client’s network.
System Maintenance SE & Associates automatically backs up twice a day. Client must remember to manually back up database or IT must set up back ups.
Software Issues Software updates are automatic & seamless. SE & Associates handles this off site so there is no client or IT involvement. If a software problem arises, a fix or patch must be sent to the user. The patch must then be installed on each licensed machine and test software. Any previously customized report may need to be reinstalled.
